Silly question I have for you all. I bought a pair of hooker boots off of zappos.com and they are a little snug in the calf. They are synthetic material. My question is... Does anyone know of a way to safely stretch the upper part of the boot? Thanks!

I have been trying to find help via google but they aren't been very helpful.
Damn calves!
Those are awesome. I have always wanted some of those but am traumatized from my moms bf calling them "Thigh high f*uck me boots" when i was a teen, because of this i was not allowed to buy any and even though i am 30 now i still think of that and have never bought any
oops. i spelled out the bad word anyways. Sorry! If there was an edit button i would fix it.
lol no worries... I call them hooker boots so that is just as bad
It is all in how you wear them.
Well, when I get a new pair of shoes, I stuff the toes with thick socks to stretch them out. But that is for regular flats or heels and they were leather. I suppose it'd be worth a try or you could call a shoe repair shop and see if they knew???

I was thinking of something along those lines, like big cans of tomatoes or something LOL!!! I'll try the sock thing first, that seems safer.
Love the boots! I have the same issue but really because my calves are just thick, I think. I encounter it with all boots. I usually have to wear them a few times to break them in. So when you figure out what works, please come back and let us know!
I stuffed them with some stuff last night. I will slowly stuff them with some larger things. I'll let you know if it helps!

My boots have been stretched. Since I needed to stretch just above the ankles I put a glass jar in each boot for a week. The next week I put a thick wool sock over the jar and put it back in. I made sure that I could still zip up the zipper but it was very hard to do.
A week later and VOILA my boots are stretched. Unfortunately, I need to stretch the very top a bit so I can zip it up completely. So, now I have to put my thinking cap back on.
why didn't the second star work?
That happens when I do more smileys in a row.
I'll use my favorite new smiley for an example:

It must not be recognizing the spaces between the smiley when it's typed or something.
Glad the boots are working out!
