What Song(s) Are You Sick of Hearing?
I listen to the same radio station everyday, usually just in the morning, but I swear that the same songs come on everyday. And somehow they time it so that they KNOW when I'll be in the car and play the same songs. So, of course, I am becoming highly irritated at said songs.
Overplayed songs drive me crazy! Don't get me wrong, I liked all these songs when they first came out (some much more than others), but now they just grate on me!
Currently, if I never heard these songs again I'd be thrilled:
Bubbly, Colbie Caillait
Teardrops on my Guitar, Taylor Swift
Shadow of the Day, Linkin Park
Love Song, Sara Bareillis
Tattoo, Jordin Sparks
Sweet Escape, Gwen Stefani

Post a Commentmy coworkers and i have this same conversation at least twice a week because sara bareilles 'love song' is on every 5 minutes, i swear! i love that song, but she has sooooo many better singles. it just doesn't make sense. also, i've worked at this office for 3 years now, and the station we listen to still plays some of the exact same songs at the exact same time every day -- bon jovi 'livin on a prayer' drives me crazy now.

dolly - I honestly can't imagine being sick of old Bon Jovi stuff. But if they played it the way that they play Love Song I bet I would too! Everytime that Love Song comes on, I change the station or just turn off the radio completely.
justingirl - I'm not sure that I know that song. Will have to look! Am I crazy or are you from the DC area too?
ummm this is a tough to ask me so early in the morning....
Rihanna - Umbrella & Stop the music. THey both get on my nerves. I am sure there are others by I cannot think yet.

I also can't stand that Psycho song by Puddle of Mud or anything by Nickelback.

I agree with that whole list and want to add Sexual Seduction by Snoop Dogg. I love Snoop but come on! Sometimes i feel like the radio stations play the same songs one after another all day long!
I really think that radio stations do that. I have days where the song that's playing in the morning when I get out of the car is the same one that's playing when I get in the car!
Drives me utterly batty.
I will admit, though, that I'm in the car for at least 2 hours everyday so I do hear a lot of music in that time. But still...
justingirl - It's Mix 107.3! I love them most of the time, but I can't stand the way they keep playing the SAME THING.
My radio station hasn't done much Rihanna lately. But for awhile, it was all SOS all the time.
No one by Alicia Keys. When it first came out - I used to switch stations just to find out. I played over and over on my iPod. But now they play it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much, they killed it for me!
Just like almost every other popular song - Sexy Back, et al.
I'm the same way, michlny - I love a song at first and I love how they overplay it. And then it gets to THAT POINT...
