My question has to do with Facebook but it can be meant for any site really. I have a bunch of people on my Facebook account. I do know them all some way or another. My question is, if I never talk to this person what is the point of them being on my friends list? Is it rude to delete someone?? Another reason why I ask is because these people add me then never even say Hi, so what the heck is the point??

I don't have that problem on Facebook, I only have people I know on there right now. Well, actually I have one of those people that you know but never see or talk to.

Once you've deleted them, do they get an alert? Otherwise, I say who cares?
Am I the only person in America (or Canada, for kiwi!) who's never been on Facebook or MySpace and never seen The Hills?

For the "friends" I have on there who I don't really talk to I just limit what they can see. You have that preference and you can limit them to see whatever you want. (Blogs, pictures, posts, etc.)
I watched about 10 minutes of the Hills and wanted to die.
Thank Goodness! I was beginning to think I was the only one. But I still wasn't going to watch it!
I have never seen the Hills either. But I am on facebook & Myspace (only for an All My Children blog LOL).
DesignRchic - I know about the privacy part, I just don't want to look rude LOL! I have nothing worth hiding but I just feel like why bother saying you are my friend if you don't talk to me.

Answer to poll: who cares?
This is a funny subject because my sister and I were just talking about that today. We both have facebook accounts and she was asking me if she should delete a particular guy friend, and we were both wondering if it were to really matter. I have like one or two friends on my list I never hear from, but it doesn't bother me.
well if you dont know them and they havent ever talked to you and/or havent been online for quite sometime then i would delete!!
